The 2004 Laid, Polla and Port-Na-Con Residents’ Association Christmas Party
The second Christmas Party organised by the Executive Committee of the Laid, Polla and Port-Na-Con Residents’ Association was held at Port-Na-Con on Monday, 20th December. In total, 12 guests attended (including 5 members of the Residents’ Association) enjoying the seasonal treats prepared by Lesley Black. Katy and Donny provided the entertainment on their accordions. Father Christmas paid a visit as well handing out presents for everybody.
Apologies were received from Joyce and Donny Morrison, Jonathan Dale and Jean and Frankie Morrison who were not able to attend to due illness. Andrew Marsham was unable to attend due to business commitments.
It is regretful that not even at Christmas some residents of Laid can bury their differences and sit together for the evening. But, in spite of the small number of Laid folk attending, all enjoyed the evening.
